Plant + Garden Consultation
For people who want ad-hoc gardening guidance over the phone, from filling in a shady area or gardening for a specific menu to tackling a problem plant or a weak spot in the garden. Includes written summary of guidance and next steps. You can think of this as a private plant tutorial, just tell me your situation and what you want to know!
30 minutes session: $35
1+ hour or more: $50/hour
Services I don’t provide:
Although I wish I could help all of your backyard dreams come true, I am not skilling in hardscaping (building ponds, installing rocks and cement, etc.). I am happy to work with a company of your choosing and help oversee their work, if that fits your garden vision.
I am also not suited to provide input on large acreages and farmland. Growing commercial crops is antithetical to my vision of connecting people and plants to make a better world. I want to empower individuals to grow their own food and medicine, and encourage everyone to plant to attract the necessary pollinators and wildlife to your garden to create a dynamic, thriving ecosystem. Single crop production does not jive with that.
Garden Assessment + Design
For urban gardeners who want help cultivating a vision for their garden, and fitting it into their existing space. This service includes a one-hour in-person site visit and assessment, a written summary of guidance and next steps, and a garden design sketch including general planting areas and suggested species. Suitable for small home gardens, less than an acre.
Add-on services such as detailed plant layout designs, help sourcing quality plants, developing management schedules, and more available as needed.
